Cedar Have proudly opened its doors on March 11, 2011. Cedar Haven provides a 180-day transitional program. In addition to providing housing, we offer classes that will assist residents in becoming self-sufficient; improving the quality of their lives as they return back to society.
Cedar Haven’s class curriculum includes a wide range of self-improvement classes which includes financial literacy, credit restoration, co-dependency, and boundaries.
The ultimate vision for Cedar Haven is to partner with housing entities, hence to provide permanent housing for the residents. We intend to serve women ages 18 and older who reside in Nassau County, working or non-working, single or married and with or without children.
